Staff Services, Planning, Communication Section is responsible for research, data collection, coordination of special projects, report preparation and long-term planning projections for the department. Publications produced by Staff Services, Planning, Communication Section include departmental annual reports, surveys, and informational brochures. In addition, Staff Services, Planning, Communication Section is responsible for the maintenance of the agency's Commission on Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) accreditation files and writes press releases, receives and responds to media inquiries, and develops the department's video presentations, publications, and fliers.
